Much like the later stories of She-Ra, He-Man was created by Mattel due to their successful toy line featuring He-Man. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe originally had 2 seasons with 130 episodes, it went on to have different episodes in a new show starting He-Man as well.

Filmation produced He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and was first aired in 1983 and finally ended in 1990. He-Man has a huge following even today more than 20 years after the Cartoon was produced. You can find many toys, games, movies, series and other merchandise everywhere.

Taking place on Eternia He-Man know to many as Prince Adam is the son of King Randor and Queen Marlena who rule the planet Eternia. Prince Adam is portrayed as a cowardly man dressed like royalty, however when he takes the Power Sword and says the lines he transforms into He-Man.

He-Man has many friends who help him defeat evil such as Skeletor. Battle Cat, Teela, Man-At-Arms and Orko are always by his side to help defend against evil. Skeletor is the shows main villain and he usually attempts to take over Castle Grayskull, this is where He-Man gets his power.

He-Man can be found in DVD format at many online stores, eBay and even sometimes in your local shopping malls.
