Fantastic Max

Fantastic Max

Fantastic Max is a cartoon series that was created by Mike Young, and American/Welsh co-produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and Kalato Ltd. The central character is Max, who is a diaper clad toddler. Max has many adventures in space with his two toys, FX and AB. FX is a pull string doll who is from a planet known as Twinkle-Twinkle. AB Sitter is a C3PO type android who is made out of blocks.

Other heroes of the show included Zoe, Dad, Mom and Ben. The villains were Bronx, who appeared as a ringmaster on one episode, Goldie, who also appeared in only one episode as a space gypsy, Dumping Jack Trash, who was a garbage man and only spoke in rhymes, and XS who was the little cousin to FX.

Even with this entertaining cast of characters, the show did not stay around very long. Fantastic Max first aired on September 11, 1988, with the last episode on February 1, 1990. After that, it ran for 2 years in syndication in the United States as part of the Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera show once a week.

The show is really great and I feel i should comment about it. well the main character has this endearing sentiment which is absolutely remarkable and unquestionable. I personally did not like the show at first but had to change my mind afterwards. I am really appreciative of the producer and highly indebted to him for making me a fan of cartoons. thanks alot.
